Hershey's Kisses Roses

A crafty idea for Valentine's Day.   Hershey's Kisses Roses.   After seeing the packages of Hershey's Kisses with the pink, silver and red foil wrapped kisses on the front, I remembered making these years ago with my daughter.  These roses are easy to make and are a sweet treat.  They will surely be enjoyed by those who receive them from you, or you can just make them to admire for yourself, if only for a little while...they are chocolate after all!

Supplies needed:
Hershey's Kisses
cellophane or plastic wrap -tinted if using silver kisses, clear if using colored ie. pink or red kisses
floral stem wire 18ga. or bbq skewers sticks - in desired length
floral tape
leaves

Instructions:
1. cut approximately  3"x3" square of cellophane.

2. Stack two kisses on top of each other, end to end.{turn one upside down and stack the other one on top of it, flat ends together}  Glue dots or double-sided tape can be used to attach the bottom of the kisses together.{remove white kisses paper- pull or tear off}  Center the cellophane over the Kisses.

3. Wrap the cellophane around the two Kisses and gather snugly around the bottom of the kisses, add the skewer stick. Twist the cellophane snugly around the stick.

4. Using the floral tape wrap the stick so it looks like the stem of a flower.{If you have never used floral tape before, it becomes sticky with a little bit of pull as you wrap}  You can add more to even up the look if needed, by re-wrapping.

5. Add a leaf or two and continue to wrap stem.

6. Repeat previous steps for making more roses.

I love roses and chocolate too, not to mention kisses...
