As I sit here and think of all the years you have been in my life, along with all the memories you are part of, I smile.
I've watched in amazement, as you have pursued your dreams with tremendous courage and dedication. It gives me great joy to know there are people in this world like you, fighting for good and working to make this a better place, not only for yourself but for your family, especially your children and my grandchildren, and I couldn't be more proud. Now even more than mother and daughter, you and I are friends. We also share a common understanding of being a mother, and all that it is. Even when that can at times seem an up-hill battle, with questioning of ourselves "am I doing this right?" The rest of it is pretty spectacular, with rewards of sweet little faces saying "I Love You Mommy", through happy smiles along with great big heart filled hugs and kisses. I treasure those from you still today, as I know you do from your own girls.
