A "Grand" Birthday





We enjoyed a day with family and friends as we celebrated a "Grand" Birthday
on Saturday in Greenville, SC.

The Birthday Girl is all smiles.  Lil' Sis is all smiles too.





Happy '8th' Birthday to our Granddaughter!




A special request for my Brownie instead of a Birthday Cake was granted to the Birthday Girl.
I fancy-up a Brownie and make it even more delicious.



An American Girl doll was her favorite gift, and a very special one given earlier, from her Mom and Dad.  Her Mom took her to the American Girl store for a special day out together and to pick her doll.
She was given several birthday gifts of new clothing outfits for her doll to wear.

She is wearing one of her gifts from me, matching scarves for her and her doll to wear.  I made the Fringed Infinity Scarves from t-shirts.  She was delighted that I made them for her, and that I made matching ones for her doll! (I also made her a set in black, which she is wearing in a previous photo above).  I also made for her and her doll, matching necklaces with ball chains and a pretty crystal pendant.

It was a great birthday party and she was enjoying every minute of it!
A great day of fun, with eats and treats, and happy faces.
