My Happy Thrifty Heart

With the love I have for all things gold, I'm sure my heart must be gold, it must be!  My heart is always happy when I'm shopping.  I love finding thrifty treasures, and heart shaped golden treasures get me every time!  Like this beautiful golden heart sachet filled with rose potpourri.  It pleases my happy thrifty heart!

I'm always amazed at the things I find when I pop into a thrift shop, or antique market.  Sometimes I even find a treasure or two!

I found even more "gold" to love. These four items on my pretty tray (from Target) are thrifty treasures I recently found.  It's why I visit thrift shops and antique markets, you never know what treasures await!

I've shared my decorated faux candles before, I enjoy dressing them up for everyday, or holidays and other occasions. From plain to pretty!
My gold lovin' heart is happy with my golden treasures!  A pair of gold painted candlesticks, a shiny gold lamp with a glass shade, and a brass heart shaped candlestick.

Oh and, by the way, upon turning over the candlesticks they still had the Kohl's price stickers-$12.99 and $9.99 but were just under $2.00 each at Goodwill!  The lamp was only $2.00 also for 1/2 off day! The sweet brass heart candlestick was only .50 cents!

They may or may not get a little makeover!

I found this cute heart 'towel bar'<~(I think that's what it is\was?) at a little thrift shop and thought it would be great to display my pretty gold measuring cups and spoons sets, also from Target.  I cut pieces of a wire hanger, to make perfect sized S hooks for hanging the measuring tools.

I simply hung the whole thing from another S hook on the end of my cabinets.  Now I'm admiring my handy work.  Another heart and more gold for me to love!

Happy treasure hunting!...
