Girls day out!

I met up with my Daughter and Granddaughters for a day of food, fun and shopping in Commerce, GA at the Tanger Outlets yesterday, it's about the halfway point for us between Georgia and South Carolina. We enjoy the many stores there.  A couple favorites are the Coach store and Kirkland's.  We started the day at Cracker Barrel and had a great breakfast!  Not everyday do I get to enjoy me some Uncle Herschel's, mmm-hmm but I sure did!  Nor do I get to do it with these girls, so that made it all the better!

We ventured over to the Tanger Outlets after breakfast and enjoyed some shopping. The Granddaughters were well behaved for the most part, just a little testy at times as they were more into fun stuff like, getting to ride on the carousel and having special treats (Our bribery rewards for their good behavior!). They kept us on our toes with their energy, non stop chatter and giggles, attempts at running off and keeping an ever watchful eye pointed their direction at all times, as to not let them out of our sight!

I don't remember my own girls wearing me out that much when they were younger, but maybe it's that I am older now, and memory fades a bit too (or not? *wink*).  We finished up our shopping, then decided to go and relax a bit with a coffee and treats, at the nearby Starbucks before having to endure our drive home in separate directions. The day was perfect, nice and warm with lots of sunshine.  It was a fun day and I'm so glad we got to share it together!

Enjoy my photo collection from the day!

At Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Yum!
The oldest Granddaughter took this photo of us, she did a good job!
She's a great photographer like her daddy.

Playing 'Checkers' outside on the porch at Cracker Barrel.
They sure are little cuties.  I'm pretty smitten with them, if you hadn't noticed!

Funny little characters

All smiles for special treats

Enjoying the carousel

She really likes the carousel
The carousel ride was a fun special treat!

The little character having fun with a silly hat, and entertaining Grandma!

She was all giggles making grandma laugh.  I told her I needed a photo of it.

"Thank you Mommy and Grandma for our special treats today!"

{My Daughter told me later that the girls napped out shortly after getting in the car, and all the way home after our fun and tiring day!}

That it was indeed!

Making Memories...
