Celebrating our Daughter's birthday

We celebrated with our youngest daughter on her birthday Saturday by taking her out to one of our favorite places for dinner, Stoney River Legendary Steaks. Their title says it all and is spot on too!  We all had a nice steak meal and everything was very delicious.  An enjoyable and memorable evening!

On Sunday we traveled to Greenville, SC to continue her birthday celebration family style with our other Daughter, Son-in-law and the two granddaughters.  She brought Dallas pup and we brought Aeon pup to play, and enjoy the day, together with Windsor pup.  The three pups had a day full of fun together for sure, with running after each other most of the time and some hanging out under the shade of a tree, panting all the while and looking like they were all smiling.  We had good eats prepared by our Daughter and Son-in-law of delicious grilled burgers (his's specialty), delicious homemade mac-n-cheese and chips with dips.  We also enjoyed some refreshing adult cocktails.  I brought along a chocolate cake I made for the Birthday girl since it was her favored choice.  The Granddaughters had fun making huge bubbles later in the day, also they and the pups entertained us with a variety of bouncing balls.  Windsor puts on quite a show on his own with pushing a large ball all across the yard at top speed, while the other pups seemed a bit intimidated by the big ball.  It is something to see, and funny for sure.  The pups were all tired out by dark and laying about the deck with each in their own claimed space, spread out from each other and having a good snooze.  Littlest Granddaughter fell asleep on her daddy's shoulder, so we gave her good-bye kisses and her day was done.  Shortly after we said our good-byes to the rest and loaded the tired pups and ourselves into the car.  Our oldest Granddaughter went the distance and was still going strong when we left.  Everyone napped on the drive home as I drove and sang along to songs on the radio.  Although we were all tired, we had enjoyed a great day together!
